The terms governing use of this website and the supply of verification services to our clients.
These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the supply of verification services by Authenticatin LLC, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States.
Where we enter into a separate written service agreement with a client, that agreement takes precedence over these terms to the extent of any conflict.
Our services are provided to businesses. We do not contract with individual consumers.
Authenticatin provides primary source verification, including:
Verification is obtained from the authority that issued the credential — the employer, the academic institution or the regulator — and is documented with the identity of the source and the date of contact.
A case is accepted only once we have received:
We confirm acceptance of each case, and the expected turnaround, before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any case, including where the market is one we cannot reliably serve, where the authorisation is inadequate, or where the request would require us to act unlawfully.
By instructing us you confirm that:
Decisions remain yours. We report what the issuing authority stated. We do not advise on, recommend or make hiring, licensing or adverse action decisions, and we are not responsible for how you use a report.
Verification depends on the cooperation of third parties we do not control. Accordingly:
Any turnaround we quote applies to our first substantive attempt at verification, measured from the point at which we have received complete and accurate case details.
Subsequent attempts depend on the availability and cooperation of the issuing authority and are not subject to a guaranteed timeframe. We will keep you informed of case status throughout.
Each party will keep confidential all non-public information received from the other and use it only for the purposes of the engagement. This obligation survives termination.
It does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the receiving party, was already lawfully held, is independently developed, or must be disclosed by law.
In carrying out verification we act as a processor on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the processing and for obtaining candidate authorisation.
We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Statement. We will delete case data on your written instruction.
All content on this website belongs to Authenticatin LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.
Verification reports produced for you belong to you on payment. Our methodologies, systems, templates and operational know-how remain ours and no licence to them is granted.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that:
Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement on thirty days' written notice. Either party may terminate immediately if the other commits a material breach that is not remedied within fifteen days of written notice, or becomes insolvent.
On termination, cases already in progress will be completed and invoiced unless both parties agree otherwise, and all outstanding sums become due.
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including war, civil unrest, natural disaster, epidemic, or act of government. The affected party will notify the other promptly and both will act reasonably to limit the effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good faith negotiation within thirty days of written notice. If unresolved, the dispute will be referred to binding arbitration conducted in English under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, at a neutral seat agreed between the parties.
